Cheers to 30 Years: Our 2025 Year in Review
As the festive season approaches, it’s time to reflect on what has been a truly remarkable year for us at Indigo Ross.
This year was extra special as we celebrated our 30th anniversary! It has been a year filled with community, charity, and celebration.
Join us as we take a look back at some of the highlights.
Kicking Off the Year with Community Spirit
Supporting Our Local Food Bank
We kicked off the year by focusing on our community, organising a collection for our local food bank. It was a fantastic way to gather essential items and support those in need right here in Sudbury.
The Great Hamper Giveaway
To continue the community spirit, we also ran a brilliant hamper giveaway. This was a small token of our appreciation for the incredible local support we’ve received over the last three decades.
The Sound of 30 Years
February kicked off with our ’30th Playlist’ challenge, a fun way to celebrate 30 years in business by sharing favourite tunes and sparking debate across the team.
Quiz Night Fever
Our February Charity Pub Quiz at The Bull in Long Melford was a huge success. It was a fantastic evening of trivia and laughter, and we were thrilled to raise an amazing grand total of £1,005 thanks to everyone’s generosity. The funds were proudly split between three great local causes: Dogs Trust, Suffolk Mind, and St Nicholas Hospice Care.
Supporting Sudbury Rugby Club
In March, our focus turned to local sport as we were proud to support our local team, Sudbury RFC, by hosting a fantastic Rugby Sponsors Lunch. It’s always a pleasure to back our local clubs.
Baking for Red Nose Day
Of course, we couldn’t resist getting our bake on for Red Nose Day! The team whipped up some delicious treats for an office bake-off, raising money and spirits for a truly brilliant cause.
Bullseye! The Darts Competition
March ended with our inaugural Darts Tournament at Sudbury Snooker Club. After an evening of dodgy doubles and friendly competition, our very own Rob took home the championship title!
We Turned 30!
April was a big month for us as we officially celebrated our 30th Birthday! We are incredibly proud to have reached this milestone, and we are so grateful to our loyal clients and dedicated team for making it all possible.
A Night of Comedy and Cocktails
To mark the occasion properly, we celebrated with a brilliant evening at the ICE Comedy Night right here in Sudbury. There was amazing food, a few (too many?) cocktails, and plenty of laughs. The highlight had to be seeing our very own Solly take to the stage and absolutely smash it!
Wearing Blue for World Sarcoidosis Day
The team wore blue to mark World Sarcoidosis Day, a small gesture to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with one of our own team members.
The 30km Sea to Sudbury Walk
In May, the team and some friends put on their walking boots for an epic 30km charity walk. We were absolutely blown away by the support we received, raising a massive £1,285 – over 250% of our original target! The funds were split between two incredible causes: East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and cheered us on.
Designing for Tommy’s Journey
In June, we were honoured to support Tommy’s Journey as part of our ’30 Things for 30 Years’ celebrations. This incredible charity does vital work raising awareness around Neonatal Hemochromatosis and supporting families through unimaginable challenges. We were proud to play a small part by helping them with design and print to share their important message.
Keeping Sudbury Tidy
Our commitment to our local community continued into the summer, and in July, we organised a Litter Picking day to help keep Sudbury beautiful.
Long Melford Women’s Institute Recipe Book 2025
We’ve had the pleasure of printing the Long Melford Women’s Institute Recipe Book 2025 as part of our ’30 Things for 30 Years’ celebrations! Packed with delicious dishes and local charm, it’s a real treat – and we’re proud to have helped bring it to life. Supporting community projects like this is exactly what our 30th year is all about
Welcoming Young Talent
July was also about nurturing future talent, as we welcomed work experience student Will for two weeks in the studio and across departments.
The Great Sunflower Grow-Off
Our Sunflower Growing Competition sparked some friendly rivalry! A huge congratulations to our winner Scott, whose sunflower grew to an impressive two metres.
On Your Bike!
August kicked off with a ’30 Things’ challenge as the team took part in Bike to Work Day for a great, green way to get to the office.
Rocking Out for Band Shirt Day
We also celebrated Band Shirt Day in style! The team united under the name ‘The CARRRS’ (no prizes for guessing how we came up with that one!). Carl went full rockstar and created his very own custom tee, featuring absolute anthems like ‘Barbie Girl’, ‘Cotton Eye Joe’, and ‘Everybody Get Up’. It was a day of great music and even better fashion choices.
Festival Fever at LeeStock
As part of our 30-year celebrations, Indigo Ross was proud to sponsor LeeStock Music Festival 2025 by providing printed materials, from lanyards and programmes to roadside signs and on-site signage.
It was fantastic to see our work dotted around the festival site!
Leestock is more than just a music festival, it’s a heartfelt tribute to local musician Lee Dunford, with all proceeds supporting the Willow Foundation and other local causes.
We’re honoured to play a part in an event that brings the community together for such a meaningful cause
Taking a Moment to Remember
We also took a moment to honour VE Day. At midday, the team paused for reflection before enjoying a proper British break with tea, scones, and Union Jack bunting.
Naturally, the real debate quickly followed: jam first or cream first? The jury is still out!
A Round of Crazy Golf
The team’s competitive spirit was back in full swing later in August for a fun team outing and a round of crazy golf.
Supporting Inclusive Football
We were proud to work with AFC Sudbury & Comets Disability Football, designing posters and graphics to support their fantastic local initiative.
A Baby Shower for Sam
We also hosted our very first Indigo Ross baby shower! We gathered to celebrate our brilliant designer Sam before she headed off on maternity leave.
There was a massive box of gifts, plenty of laughs, and a spread of tasty treats, including some delicious homemade sausage rolls and cupcakes.
We can’t wait to meet baby Jeff soon!
Coffee and Cake for Macmillan
As autumn arrived, so did our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning in September. It’s always a pleasure to raise a mug and some money for a cause so close to our hearts.
The Big Indigo Ross Quiz Night
In October, we hosted our Indigo Ross Quiz Night at The Bull. It was another fantastic opportunity to bring people together for a good cause, and we were thrilled to raise £250 for My Wish Charity. A huge thank you to everyone who came and supported the night!
Getting into the Halloween Spirit
We couldn’t let October end without some frightful fun! The team went all out for Halloween, getting into the spirit with some amazing costumes, spooky snacks, and plenty of laughs. It’s not all serious faces and print projects around here – sometimes you’ve just got to make room for a skeleton, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Little Red Riding Hood!
Print that Lights Up the Night
We started November with a bang! As part of our ’30 Things for 30 Years’, we created the designs and print for Hartest Pre-School’s Fireworks Night. It was a joy to provide some feel-good print for such a brilliant community celebration that really lit up the night.
Spreading Festive Cheer
Festive Designs for The Befriending Scheme. As the holidays approached, we ticked off another of our ’30 Things’ by printing Christmas cards for The Befriending Scheme.
These weren’t just any cards; each one was designed by the people who use the service. The artwork was wonderful, full of personality and festive cheer, and we were proud to play a small part in supporting such a brilliant charity.
Sponsoring the Sudbury Tree Festival
We were also delighted to sponsor a tree at the Christmas Tree Festival at the Sudbury Arts Centre in St Peter’s. Given our line of work, it only felt right that every single decoration was made entirely from paper!
We invited visitors to help themselves to free Christmas Origami booklets and paper chains to get creative at home. We even had a go at the origami ourselves, although we quickly discovered that while we are paper experts, folding it into tiny shapes might not be our strongest skill!
Christmas Jumpers and a Tiny VIP
Christmas Jumper Day landed in full colour at Indigo Ross! The team donned their brightest festive knits, but the real highlight was our surprise VIP guest, baby Leo.
He sprinkled a bit of irresistible charm across the studio, completely stealing the spotlight amidst the laughs and woolly jumpers.
A Lasting Legacy: The Defibrillator
A final chapter in our ’30 Things for 30 Years’… and one that really matters. To mark our 30th anniversary, we’ve had a defibrillator installed on our building.
It is a lasting, practical legacy that we hope will never be needed, but could one day save a life. This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of nine fellow businesses on our industrial estate, who helped make this happen financially.
A true community effort, and something we’re very proud to be part of.
That’s a Wrap on 2025!
What a year it has been! From raising thousands for charity to celebrating with our amazing team, our 30th anniversary year is one we will never forget.
Thank you to our clients, partners, and friends for making 2025 such a landmark year for Indigo Ross. We’re hanging up our party hats for now, but we’re already looking forward to working with you all in 2026.
