Large Format Assistant / Delivery Driver
Full-time | Monday–Friday | £13.00 per hour
Looking for a hands-on job where no two days are quite the same?
Indigo Ross Design & Print is looking for a Large Format Assistant / Delivery Driver to join our friendly team.
We’re an established design, print and web company with over 30 years’ experience, and we’re looking for someone practical, reliable and enthusiastic who enjoys being busy, learning new skills and taking pride in doing a job properly.
This isn’t a job where you’ll spend all day doing the same thing.
One minute you could be weeding out cut vinyl or operating one of our large format machines, the next helping mounting a 2 metre vinyl to a 5mm foamboard, packing a job ready for a customer or heading out in the van to make a local delivery.
Previous print experience would be great, but it isn’t essential. If you’ve got the right attitude and are keen to learn, we’ll provide the training you need.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll become involved in a wide range of print production and finishing, including:
- Trimming out, contour cutting, weeding & laminating vinyl
- Mounting vinyl to boards
- Large format printing; both solvent & waterbased
- Working with a variety of large-format finishing machines
- Occasionally fitting vinyl to vehicles or shop fronts
- Packing and preparing jobs for dispatch
- Assisting with small-format print production (When needed)
- Making local deliveries in our company van
- Loading and unloading finished work
- Helping the rest of the team when things get busy
It’s a practical role, so you’ll be on your feet, working with machinery, handling printed materials and getting stuck in rather than staring lovingly at a spreadsheet all day.
Who are we looking for?
Experience is useful, but attitude is more important to us.
You’ll fit in well at Indigo Ross if you’re:
- Practical and enjoy hands-on work
- Reliable and take pride in what you do
- Friendly and comfortable dealing with customers
- Happy working as part of a small team
- Able to work accurately and spot when something isn’t quite right
- Comfortable working to deadlines
- Willing to learn new equipment and skills
- The sort of person who sees something that needs doing and gets on with it
You’ll also need a full UK driving licence, as making local customer deliveries is an important part of the role.
Why join Indigo Ross?
We’re a small, established company where people know each other, work together and genuinely make a difference to the finished product. You’ll get:
- Full training across our print and finishing equipment
- A varied working day
- The opportunity to develop a broad range of practical print-production skills
- Monday–Friday working – no weekends
- 20 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays
- A friendly, supportive working environment
- A permanent role within an established local business
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to become part of the team, rather than simply filling a vacancy.
