As part of our “30 Things for 30 Years” initiative, we’re launching a campaign that’s very close to our hearts: Operation Santa Claus.
We are on a mission to collect wrapped Christmas gifts for the children spending the festive period at the West Suffolk Hospital’s Rainbow Ward.
A hospital stay is tough for anyone, but it’s especially hard for children and their families at Christmas. We want to help bring a little extra joy and sparkle to those who need it most.
We know it’s an ask, but if you can help, we would love for you to get involved. Every single gift, big or small, will make a huge difference.
How You Can Help
If you’d like to take part, simply drop off a wrapped gift at the Indigo Ross office in Sudbury by Friday, 5th December.
Please include a small note or tag on your gift with:
- What’s inside
- Whether it’s for a boy, girl, or unisex
- The approximate age range
Gift Ideas from the Rainbow Ward
To help you choose the perfect present, the hospital team has suggested a few ideas for different age groups:
- Babies: Rattles, comforters & blankets
- Older children (10+): Games, Lego, fidgets, craft kits, etc.
- Teenagers: Fluffy socks, snuggly blankets, notebooks, pens, smellies, or fidgets
A Celebration of 30 Years in the Community
This campaign is just one of the 30 activities we’re running this year to celebrate three decades of creativity, collaboration, and community. We’ve been lucky to work with so many incredible clients and partners, and this project feels like the perfect way to give something back together.
As our Managing Director, Phil Roper, said:
“We know it’s an ask, but this is such a special cause. Every child deserves a reason to smile at Christmas, and we hope Operation Santa Claus helps make that happen for those in hospital this year.”
