Indigo Ross Win Print, Design & Marketing Award


Leading design and print agency Indigo Ross celebrates an industry accolade, picking up a Print, Design & Marketing Award in Finishing. During an awards ceremony held aboard the Silver Sturgeon riverboat on the River Thames, Phil Roper, Managing Director at Indigo Ross, received the award on behalf of his team and their client, furniture wholesaler, BUK.

The award was given for the inventive use of a range of materials and techniques in order to create a premium catalogue for BUK to sell to their trade customers.

Phil Roper explains: “The product needed to be modular to incorporate different product folders but also individual sections and leaves. Since this was to be a high-end brochure, it also needed to have a tactile and luxurious feel so we explored alternative binding options to ensure that the product was fit for purpose and in keeping with the style requirements. We used fork binding and hand-finished presentation boxes to complete the look.

“This is an important event for the print and design industry and it’s great to be recognised for a job well done. More importantly, our client was very happy with the work, from an initial order of just ten complete catalogues we’ve since received another order for 1000.”

The judges for the Print, Design and Marketing Awards recognised the team’s efforts in their statement: “An innovative and high-quality product that illustrates a plethora of finishing techniques and demonstrates added value to a printed product.”
